Group Facilitation
How We Do It
Teams come together for different reasons. Therefore, we will customize our approach to your group’s needs. Typically we will complete some or all of these steps:
- Meet with the team leader and/or the team to identify needs, wants, and goals
- Gather information and assess the team, situation, and environment
- Identify what the team needs to move forward
- Establish an action plan
- Deliver facilitation, training, or appropriate activity
- Develop skills, implement actions, solve problems, and generate new behaviors
- Evaluate the results and refine the plan as needed
- Identify next course of action or end the process
Who We Facilitate
- Executive teams
- Leadership/management teams
- Divisions/departments
- Cross-functional work teams
- Community Organizations
- Professional forums
- Personal forums
- Peer groups/social groups
How It Helps
- Defines common goals and aligns the group to achieve them
- Identifies issues and obstacles to peak performance
- Enhances communication and understanding of other members
- Takes the group to new levels of productivity and enjoyment
- Creates a common language for interacting with each other
- Empowers the group to solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts
- Builds commitment to the group and re-energizes involvement
Is This For You?
Groups and teams can often function fairly well on there own; however, having a facilitator can help move the group more efficiently and effectively to a higher level of performance.
Here are some areas we have addressed that helped teams/groups move forward:
- Team development and team building
- Conflict resolution and problem solving
- Organization and time management
- Communications and relationship building
- Individual and team productivity and performance
- Orientation of new members
- Meeting Facilitation
- Process Improvement
Can your team identify with some of these issues? Are there other ways that your group could be more productive by having us partner with you? Rally your thoughts and/or your team and contact us if you would like more information.
